Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Brussels on June 17, following his participation in the G7 summit. He announced his visit via Telegram, highlighting a series of important meetings scheduled during his stay.
Zelensky is set to meet with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on the same day, followed by a meeting with Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever the next day. He emphasized the significance of these discussions for enhancing Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
“These are crucial days for strengthening our defense: meetings are planned with the defense ministers of the United Kingdom and Germany, as well as a ‘Ramstein’ format meeting and a session of the European Council,” Zelensky stated.
During the G7 summit on June 16, Zelensky participated in a working session and was welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron. He also engaged in several one-on-one discussions with U.S. President Donald Trump throughout the event.
