Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has indicated that a new Russian strike on Ukrainian territory could occur during the night of April 15. He made this statement while speaking with journalists alongside Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre in Oslo on April 14.
“Tonight, there may be another Russian attack. There are many ‘Shahed’ drones in the sky over Ukraine, and missiles may also be involved,” Zelensky stated.
The President emphasized the necessity for Ukraine to receive support in the form of air defense systems. He expressed gratitude to Norway for its willingness to assist Ukraine.
Earlier on April 14, Zelensky visited Berlin for an official meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. During this visit, it was announced that Germany would provide Ukraine with new military aid packages, which will include air defense systems, long-range weapons, drones, and ammunition.
Following his engagements in Germany, Zelensky arrived in Oslo, where he is scheduled to hold discussions with Crown Prince Haakon and Norwegian parliamentarians. A bilateral agreement aimed at enhancing Ukraine’s security is also set to be signed.
