Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently met with members of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction to discuss important agenda items ahead of upcoming sessions in the Verkhovna Rada.
In a Telegram post, Zelensky described the meeting as productive, emphasizing the significance of the discussions for the resilience of the nation and its aspirations to join the European Union. He expressed gratitude to the deputies for their constructive contributions.
Meanwhile, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a member of the Holos faction, indicated that a coalition meeting is scheduled for Monday, prior to the plenary week, involving the Prime Minister and the President. He noted that potential topics for this meeting may include personnel changes, specifically the replacement of the Minister of Education and the appointment of a new Minister of Justice.
Additionally, Zheleznyak mentioned that President Zelensky is planning separate meetings with representatives from other factions, including opposition parties, to further discuss parliamentary matters.
President Zelensky convened with the Servant of the People faction to address key legislative issues, while coalition discussions on potential ministerial changes are set for Monday. Further meetings with opposition factions are also planned.
