Ukrainian Military Plane Crash Claims Lives of Two Pilots

On June 16, a military aircraft, a Su-24M, crashed in the Khmelnytskyi region of Ukraine around 7 PM, resulting in the deaths of two crew members. The incident was confirmed by the Ukrainian Air Force.

The victims have been identified as Major Bohdan Hryhorovych Zaharlyuko and Senior Lieutenant Bohdan Oleksandrovych Babenko. Both were part of the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade named after Petro Franko.

Emergency services and law enforcement are currently at the crash site. Preliminary reports indicate that there were no injuries or fatalities among civilians in the vicinity. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the crash.
