Military Aircraft Crash Claims Lives of Two Pilots in Ukraine

A tragic incident occurred in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine, on June 16, 2026, when a Su-24M front-line bomber from the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade crashed during a mission. Both crew members, Major Bohdan Zaharulko and Senior Lieutenant Bohdan Babenko, lost their lives in the accident.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that the aircraft was conducting operations in the region when the crash happened around 7 PM. Emergency services and law enforcement officials are currently on-site to manage the situation.
