In the early hours of June 24, 2026, Ukrainian defense forces conducted strikes against key strategic facilities within Russian territory, according to reports from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Among the targeted locations was the Orenburg gas processing plant and the only helium plant in Russia, situated over 1,200 kilometers from the front lines. In the Belgorod region, a warehouse for enemy FPV drones was destroyed, while in the Vladimir region, damage to two buildings of the Vladimir space communication center was confirmed. This facility plays a vital role in supporting satellite and deep-space communication systems used by Russian security forces.
