The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that an automotive bridge over the Henichesk Strait, located near the occupied city of Henichesk in the Kherson region, was struck during the night of June 20. This bridge is reportedly used by Russian forces to facilitate military logistics between the temporarily occupied Crimea and Russian troop formations in the southern direction.
In addition, Ukrainian military officials announced the destruction of a Russian Pantsir-S air defense system in the Zaporizhia region, specifically near the settlement of Dolynske.
The General Staff also indicated that Ukrainian forces targeted command points for enemy drones in various locations, including Soledar in Donetsk Oblast, Hrozove in Zaporizhia, and Terrebren in Belgorod Oblast, Russia.
As of now, Russian forces have not commented on these reported strikes.
Earlier today, Crimean Telegram channels, including ‘Crimean Wind,’ reported a fire near the Henichesk bridge, which they attributed to the nighttime attack on occupied Crimea.
Since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion, various sites in both Russian territory and areas of Ukraine under Russian occupation have been subjected to airstrikes. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed most of these attacks, stating that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are systematically implementing measures aimed at reducing the combat capabilities of Russian occupation forces and compelling Russia to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine.
Ukrainian military forces have successfully targeted a strategic bridge and military assets in occupied territories, aiming to disrupt Russian logistics and command capabilities. These actions are part of ongoing efforts to diminish the operational effectiveness of Russian troops in the region.
