Ukrainian defense forces have announced the elimination of 1,240 Russian soldiers and the destruction of 88 artillery systems in recent combat operations. This update was shared by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via their official Facebook page.
Since the onset of the conflict on February 24, 2022, the total estimated losses for Russian forces have reached approximately 1,390,660 personnel. The report also details the destruction of various military assets, including:
- 12,041 tanks, with one additional tank reported lost recently;
- 24,787 armored fighting vehicles, an increase of four;
- 44,386 artillery systems, up by 88;
- 1,883 multiple launch rocket systems, with two more accounted for;
- 1,433 anti-aircraft systems, with one reported loss;
- 1,695 ground robotic systems, an increase of seven;
- 361,803 operational-tactical drones, with a rise of 2,246;
- 109,342 vehicles and fuel tankers, an increase of 476;
- 4,314 units of special equipment, with five more reported lost.
The figures are subject to ongoing verification as the situation evolves.
