Ukrainian Education Minister Denies Knowledge of Dismissal Proposal

The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Oksen Lisovyi, has stated that he is unaware of any proposal regarding his dismissal. During a conversation with reporters, he confirmed that no discussions about his potential removal have taken place.

Lisovyi remarked, “There have been no conversations regarding this matter. I just spoke with the Prime Minister. I am not aware of any proposal for my dismissal, but it seems that such proposals frequently arise, so I do not comment on this further.”

On June 3, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak suggested that the issue of Lisovyi’s potential dismissal might be under consideration.

Ukrainian Education Minister Oksen Lisovyi has denied any knowledge of a proposal for his dismissal, stating that he has not been approached about it. His comments come in light of recent speculation regarding his position following remarks from a member of parliament.
