Ukraine to Experience Warm Weather with Occasional Rain and Thunderstorms

In the coming days, Ukraine is set to enjoy warm weather, though some regions will experience brief rain showers and thunderstorms.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on May 8, western regions, along with Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, and parts of Kyiv, can expect short-lived rain and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will remain dry. From May 9 to 10, most areas will see similar brief rain and thunderstorms, while western and southern regions will remain mostly dry on May 9.

Temperatures overnight will range from 7 to 15 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs reaching between 18 and 25 degrees. Specifically, on May 9-10, temperatures in most of Ukraine, excluding the southern parts and Zakarpattia, will range from 13 to 18 degrees. Winds will predominantly be from the southwest, shifting to the northwest at speeds of 7 to 12 m/s.

In Kyiv, the forecast for the next three days indicates brief rain, with a dry spell expected on May 9. Nighttime temperatures will hover between 10 and 15 degrees, while daytime highs could reach up to 25 degrees on Friday. The weekend is expected to be slightly cooler, with temperatures ranging from 16 to 20 degrees, and winds primarily from the northwest at 7 to 12 m/s.

Ukraine is forecasted to have warm weather in the coming days, with some regions experiencing brief rain and thunderstorms. Temperatures will vary, with Kyiv expecting a mix of dry and rainy conditions.
