Trump Claims Positive Dialogue with Zelensky and Putin on Ukraine-Russia Situation

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that he is engaged in productive discussions with both Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the ongoing conflict between their nations. In an interview with Fox News, Trump expressed optimism about the potential for resolution.

“We are working on the Russian situation, between Russia and Ukraine, and I hope we can achieve our goals. I am indeed communicating with him (Putin) and I am really talking to President Zelensky, and these are good conversations,” Trump said.

He further commented on the animosity between the two leaders, calling it irrational. “The hatred between President Putin and President Zelensky is ridiculous. It’s madness. Hatred is a bad thing when you are trying to resolve something, but it will happen,” he added.

Donald Trump has reported positive interactions with both Zelensky and Putin, emphasizing the need to overcome animosity for a resolution in the Ukraine-Russia conflict. His comments reflect ongoing diplomatic efforts amidst the crisis.
