Russian Forces Strike Poltava Region, Causing Damage and Fires

In the early hours of March 24, the Russian military launched an attack on the Poltava region, resulting in damage to residential buildings and a hotel.

Vitaliy Dyakivnych, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, reported the assault at 2:56 AM, indicating that air defense systems were activated in response to the threat.

By approximately 3:30 AM, Dyakivnych provided further details about the aftermath of the attack. He stated, “As a result of the enemy strike in the Poltava community, damage to residential buildings and a hotel has been confirmed. Fires have erupted, and all emergency services are currently on-site. Information regarding any casualties is being verified.”

The recent attack by Russian forces on the Poltava region has led to significant property damage and the outbreak of fires. Emergency services are actively responding to the situation as authorities work to assess potential casualties.
