On the morning of June 3, Russian forces launched drone attacks on Kharkiv, targeting the Kholodnohirs’kyi and Osnov’yans’kyi districts. The strikes resulted in injuries to five individuals, according to local officials.
Initially, reports indicated that only one woman had been injured. However, as the situation unfolded, the number of injured rose, with local authorities confirming two, then four, and ultimately five victims.
Oleh Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, provided updates on the situation, stating that the drone strikes caused significant damage, including a fire at the impact sites. Additionally, an aircraft hangar and two vehicles were reported damaged due to the attacks.
“As a result of the morning shelling of the city, five people were injured,” said Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
The ongoing conflict in Ukraine continues to affect civilian areas, with Kharkiv experiencing repeated assaults. Authorities are working to assess the full extent of the damage and provide assistance to those affected.
