Russian Drone Strike Claims Life of Civilian Driver in Sumy Region

A recent drone strike in the Hlukhiv community of the Sumy region resulted in the death of a 39-year-old driver. The incident involved a Russian drone targeting a civilian cargo vehicle on a roadway.

According to Oleg Hryhorov, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the drone hit the truck, which subsequently caught fire. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hryhorov expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, highlighting the ongoing risks faced by civilians in conflict zones.

This attack follows a previous incident where a Russian drone targeted a police vehicle in the city of Bilopillia, also in the Sumy region, resulting in injuries to a law enforcement officer.
