According to a statement from the ministry, the new regulations will implement a unified procedure for conducting competitions for leadership positions. Key components of this process include:
- In institutions where a supervisory board is to be established, the board will determine the competition winner.
- Candidates will undergo interviews and present their development programs to the supervisory board.
- The supervisory boards will recommend the competition winner to the founder for the appointment as the institution’s leader.
The Ministry has noted that the competition duration will be limited to two months. This new selection process is set to take effect on September 12, 2026.
