Car Explosion in Kyiv’s Sviatoshyn District Investigated by Authorities

A car explosion occurred in the Sviatoshyn district of Kyiv, according to a statement from local police. Initial reports indicate that a Skoda vehicle caught fire, which subsequently damaged nearby parked cars.

Authorities have not yet reported any injuries related to the incident. Emergency services are currently on-site to extinguish the fire and investigate the circumstances surrounding the event.

Later, the State Emergency Service confirmed that the fire has been extinguished. This incident follows a prior explosion on March 22 in Chernihiv, where several individuals sustained injuries in an ATB supermarket. Police later clarified that the explosion was linked to a Russian aerial attack.
