The Iranian Foreign Ministry has indicated that no conclusive decision has been reached regarding a potential agreement with the United States. Spokesman Esmail Baghaei emphasized that Iran will not compromise on its “red lines” during the negotiations.
Baghaei stated that any reports concerning the timing and location of a potential agreement are speculative at this stage. He noted that while a significant portion of the negotiation text has been agreed upon, the U.S. side has frequently altered its positions throughout the discussions.
Recent developments in the situation include remarks from U.S. President Donald Trump, who suggested on Tuesday that a peace agreement with Tehran could be finalized within “two to three days.” However, on Thursday, Trump announced that U.S. military forces would deliver a “very strong blow” to Iran that night, only to later retract this statement, indicating that the “final points” of the agreement had been approved.
Iran's Foreign Ministry has clarified that discussions with the U.S. regarding a potential agreement are ongoing, with no definitive conclusions reached. The U.S. has reportedly changed its stance multiple times during negotiations, complicating the process.
