On April 28, Kyiv experienced an attack involving Russian drones, resulting in debris falling in two districts of the city. One individual sustained injuries as a consequence of the incident.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, debris from the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) landed in the Shevchenkivskyi district, causing a collision between vehicles on a street. Preliminary medical reports indicate that one person was injured.
Klitschko also noted that debris struck the roof of an unfinished building in the same district, leading to a fire. Emergency services are currently responding to the situation.
In addition, debris fell in the Solomianskyi district, landing within the grounds of a cemetery.
As of the latest updates, the injured individual has been hospitalized. The mayor confirmed that the injuries were sustained when a passenger vehicle struck the pedestrian following an explosion caused by the drone debris.
