Lukashenko Attributes Global Conflicts to Human Factors

In a recent statement, Alexander Lukashenko, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, suggested that the ongoing wars and global instability are the result of human actions rather than divine intervention. His remarks were reported by RBC-Ukraine, referencing a conversation on the ‘Pool of the First’.

Addressing the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, as well as tensions in the Middle East, Lukashenko emphasized that the current unrest is a direct consequence of human decisions. He stated, “The world is very unstable right now because of human factors. These wars were not gifted to us by God; we have brought this upon ourselves. Therefore, we need to consider how to end these wars.”

Lukashenko further claimed that the resolution of the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East hinges on the willingness of a few key individuals. He asserted, “If there is such a desire, these wars could certainly end this year.”

He expressed confidence that the Middle Eastern conflict would conclude within the same timeframe, suggesting that U.S. involvement has escalated the situation, but now President Donald Trump is focused on bringing it to a close.

It is important to note that Belarus is a close ally of Russia in its full-scale war against Ukraine. At the onset of the conflict, Russian forces launched their offensive not only from Russia but also from Belarusian territory.

Alexander Lukashenko has stated that human actions are to blame for current global conflicts, asserting that the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East could end if key individuals choose to pursue peace. Belarus remains a significant ally of Russia in its ongoing military operations against Ukraine.
