Ukraine has restarted oil transportation through the Druzhba pipeline, with supplies to Slovakia expected to resume on April 23.
According to Ukrtransnafta, pressure was increased and the pipeline began to be filled on the Ukrainian side this morning, following its connection with Belarus.
The resumption of oil transit comes amidst ongoing discussions between Ukraine and the European Union regarding financial assistance.
The issue of oil supplies is considered a key factor in ensuring economic stability and fostering cooperation with European partners.
Previously, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the repair of a section of the Druzhba pipeline that had been damaged by Russian shelling, enabling the pipeline’s operation to continue.
