Ukrainian Forces Target Russian Military Infrastructure in Recent Strikes

On June 21 and the night of June 22, Ukrainian defense forces conducted a series of strikes against various Russian military targets, including a communications center in the Moscow region and a drone operator training facility in eastern Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that their forces successfully hit the “Dubna” communications center, resulting in significant smoke emissions from the site. Damage assessments are currently ongoing.

Additionally, Ukrainian troops targeted a drone operator training site near Debaltseve in the Luhansk region, as well as command and control points in the areas of Myrnohrad and Perebudova in Donetsk. Strikes were also reported on enemy observation posts in the Belgorod region of Russia and near Pokrovsk in Donetsk.

Another significant strike occurred on an automotive bridge in the Vasylivka area of Zaporizhzhia, which is reportedly used for troop movements and logistical support for Russian occupying forces.

Further analysis confirmed that on June 21, Ukrainian forces also targeted the infrastructure of the “Kavkaz” port in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, along with two automotive ferries, which are utilized for supplying Russian troops in southern Ukraine.

As is customary, the Russian side has not acknowledged these strikes. Independent verification of the reported damage within Russian territory and occupied regions remains unconfirmed.

Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova+ shared images purportedly showing damage to the bridge near Vasylivka.

In a related development, on the night of June 22, Moscow’s mayor, Sergey Sobyanin, reported that 59 Ukrainian drones were destroyed while approaching the city. Airports in Moscow temporarily halted operations due to the drone attack.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that their air defense systems intercepted 301 Ukrainian drones overnight, with interceptions occurring over various regions, including Belgorod, Bryansk, and the annexed Crimea.

Since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion, numerous sites within Russia and occupied territories in Ukraine have been subjected to aerial attacks. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has consistently confirmed these operations, stating that they aim to diminish the combat capabilities of Russian occupying forces and compel Russia to cease its military aggression against Ukraine.

Ukrainian defense forces have targeted multiple Russian military sites, including a communications center and a drone training facility, in recent strikes. These actions are part of ongoing efforts to undermine Russian military capabilities amid the ongoing conflict.
