Ukrainian Forces Target Bridges Leading to Crimea Amid Ongoing Conflict

Reports indicate that Ukrainian forces have once again struck bridges connecting to Crimea, as confirmed by the occupying authorities in the region.

Vladimir Saldo, the self-proclaimed governor of the Kherson region, stated that overnight, their air defense and mobile fire groups intercepted 25 attack drones.

The drones reportedly targeted crossings in the direction of Chonhar, leading to the closure of traffic towards the ‘Dzhankoy’ checkpoint.

Saldo also claimed that Ukrainian forces launched an attack on the bridge between Henichesk and the Arabat Spit, which has since been inspected by specialists.

“The enemy is trying to strike at transport infrastructure to create problems for people,”

he stated.

Currently, traffic over the bridge at Arabat Spit is operating in a reversible mode, allowing vehicles to pass in both directions alternately.

Additionally, Saldo reported damage to fuel trucks, as well as structural damage to the bridge on the Henichesk-Strilkove road and the bridge in Chonhar.

Ukrainian forces have intensified their attacks on bridges leading to Crimea, targeting key transport links. Recent reports from occupying officials highlight the ongoing conflict's impact on infrastructure and civilian movement.
