On April 19, 2026, Ukrainian forces launched an attack on the “Atlant Aero” facility in Taganrog, Russia, using Neptune cruise missiles. The strike resulted in the destruction of several production buildings at the site.
The General Staff of Ukraine confirmed that the attack led to the destruction of two production facilities and damage to four others. “Atlant Aero” is known for its comprehensive design, manufacturing, and testing of strike reconnaissance drones, including components for the Orion drone.
According to military officials, targeting this facility will significantly reduce the enemy’s capabilities to conduct strikes on civilian targets within Ukraine.
Additionally, on April 22, 2026, Ukrainian forces confirmed damage to the combat bridge of a patrol ship belonging to the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) in Sevastopol.
Ukrainian defense forces have also successfully targeted a military ship control center in Sevastopol, among other strategic enemy objectives, on April 21 and 22.
Ukrainian forces have targeted key military assets in Russia, including the "Atlant Aero" facility, which is crucial for drone production. This move aims to diminish the Russian military's operational capabilities against Ukraine.
