The “Chartia” Corps, in collaboration with other units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces, is enhancing its defensive capabilities in the Kharkiv region. This initiative includes the construction of extensive trench systems, anti-tank ditches, and non-explosive barriers, as well as the establishment of bunkers and other fortification elements.
In a statement, “Chartia” reminded that in the summer of 2024, alongside other defense units, they successfully halted the Russian advance in Kharkiv and have since been actively reclaiming occupied territories.
From the liberation of forested areas north of Kharkiv in 2024-2025 to the Kupiansk counteroffensive operation in 2025-2026, “Chartia” has showcased a new level of capability within the Ukrainian military—one that is strong, technologically advanced, values human life, and is committed to reclaiming Ukrainian land.
Additionally, the village of Hraniv in the Derhachi community of the Kharkiv region remains under Ukrainian control. Defense forces emphasized that claims of its capture by enemy forces are unfounded.
