Ukrainian Defense Forces Target Key Russian Infrastructure in Overnight Strikes

In a series of overnight strikes on June 13, 2026, Ukrainian defense forces targeted multiple locations across Russia, including Volgograd, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions. Among the significant hits was a crucial oil transportation facility.

One of the primary targets was a crude oil preparation and pumping facility located near the town of Kotovo in the Volgograd region. Reports indicated that a fire broke out at the site following the attack.

This facility plays a vital role for Russian operations:

  • It prepares and pumps oil through main pipelines;
  • It supplies raw materials to oil refining plants;
  • It supports export infrastructure.

Specifically, the facility collects oil from the Korobkovskoye field in Volgograd and neighboring fields in the Astrakhan region and the Republic of Kalmykia.

In addition to the oil facility, Ukrainian forces struck at command points of occupying forces in the areas of Soledar (Donetsk region) and Verkhnya Krynytsia (Zaporizhzhia region).

Furthermore, Ukrainian military operations targeted enemy drone control points located in:

  • Khoromnoe (Bryansk region, Russia);
  • Verkhnya Krynytsia (Zaporizhzhia region);
  • Voskresenske (Donetsk region);
  • Novomykolaivka (Kherson region).

Additional strikes were reported in areas where Russian personnel were concentrated, including Soledar, Uspenivka, Holubivka, Pryvilne, as well as Kolotyliivka, Novyi Yurkivtsi, and Chornozemny Horodok in the Bryansk and Belgorod regions.

Ukrainian defense forces executed targeted strikes on critical Russian military and infrastructure sites overnight, significantly impacting oil transport capabilities and command operations. These actions reflect ongoing tensions and military strategies in the region.
