Ukraine Strikes Russian Oil Infrastructure in Krasnodar Region

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed that a facility in Russia’s Krasnodar region has been targeted, marking another significant strike against Russian oil infrastructure.

The targeted site was located approximately 500 kilometers from Ukraine’s border. Zelensky stated, “We are rightfully bringing the war back to where it originated. Russia could have ended its aggression long ago but chose to prolong the conflict instead.”

The President specifically mentioned that the strike hit an oil facility in Armavir, Krasnodar. He expressed gratitude to the Security Service of Ukraine for the successful operation.

Zelensky emphasized the importance of Ukraine’s strategy, stating, “Step by step, we are executing our long-range sanctions plan in response to everything Russia has done against our country and our people.”

He added that Ukraine is employing various methods to exert pressure on Russia, ranging from legal actions to practical strikes on facilities supporting the Russian military economy.

“All types of our sanctions—both legal and practical—are aimed at bringing us closer to peace. Thank you for the precision,” Zelensky concluded.

Ukrainian forces have targeted a Russian oil facility in Krasnodar, as President Zelensky underscores the ongoing strategy to counter Russian aggression. The operation reflects Ukraine's multifaceted approach to applying pressure on Russia amid the ongoing conflict.
