The Russian military is reportedly taking a pause in combat operations during the current ceasefire, using this time to enhance its offensive capabilities. According to military spokesperson Oleksandr Trehubov, this period is being leveraged for troop rotation and logistical improvements.
Trehubov noted, “They are indeed quiet at the moment. Today, they are trying to take a break and use this pause for rotation, for bringing in forces, and generally for renewing their offensive capabilities.” He emphasized that the Ukrainian army is also taking advantage of the ceasefire to improve its logistics and conduct troop rotations.
Despite the ceasefire agreement, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 51 combat engagements by 16:00 today. The intensity of fighting has reportedly increased in eastern and southern Ukraine, with the highest concentration of clashes occurring in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions.
The Russian military is reportedly using the ceasefire to strengthen its forces while the Ukrainian army focuses on logistical improvements. Despite the truce, significant combat activity continues in various regions of Ukraine.
