Russian Drone Strikes Target Civilian Infrastructure in Odesa Region

On the night of May 3, Russian forces launched a drone attack on civilian and port infrastructure in the Odesa region, resulting in casualties and damage to residential buildings.

Local authorities reported that two individuals lost their lives and five others sustained injuries due to the strikes. “The enemy continues to target civilian and port infrastructure in Odesa. Unfortunately, two people have died, and five have been injured. My sincere condolences to the families and loved ones,” stated the regional governor, Maksym Kiper.

The drone strikes specifically impacted three residential buildings, with an additional two sustaining damage. Furthermore, structures and equipment associated with the port infrastructure were also affected.

Emergency services have since extinguished the fires that erupted as a result of the attacks. All relevant agencies are actively engaged in addressing the aftermath of the strikes.

Law enforcement officials are in the process of documenting the latest military crimes committed by the Russian army against the civilian population in the Odesa region.
