Russian Drone Attack Damages Logistics Depot in Kharkiv

A Russian drone strike in Kharkiv has resulted in a fire and partial collapse of a logistics depot operated by Nova Poshta. The attack targeted Depot No. 5, causing significant structural damage to the building’s roof.

At the time of the incident, the facility was not operational, preventing any injuries among staff members. Emergency services, including the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, are currently on-site to manage the situation.

Due to the extensive damage and heavy smoke, access to the warehouse remains restricted, as authorities assess the risk of further collapses. Preliminary estimates indicate that 363 packages, valued at approximately 1 million hryvnias, were inside the building at the time of the strike, with the extent of damage to these items still being evaluated.

In response to the incident, Nova Poshta has assured customers that they will receive full compensation for the declared value of the damaged parcels. The company plans to provide further details regarding the compensation process in due course.

Despite this latest attack on its logistics infrastructure, Nova Poshta has stated that it will continue its operations. The company has established backup logistics plans and prepared continuity scenarios to ensure service delivery. Customers can check the status of their shipments via the mobile application or the company’s website.
