The Ukrainian firm Yartura has introduced a new drone interceptor, named Dancer 4.5.0, capable of achieving speeds up to 450 km/h and designed to counteract enemy electronic warfare.
This drone interceptor operates with a maximum altitude for target engagement of 4.8 km and has an operational range of up to 30 km. It features an automatic target acquisition system based on artificial intelligence, allowing for repeated attacks on targets if initial attempts fail.
Notably, the system is capable of autonomously taking off, navigating to target areas using detection data, and independently identifying potential targets through its autonomous targeting module. This high level of automation reduces the workload on operators during missions.
The automation also shortens the training time for operators and simplifies the deployment of new crews. The minimum crew required for operation consists of three individuals: a pilot, a navigator, and a sapper driver.
Moreover, Yartura has indicated that with LTE control, a single operator can manage multiple interceptors simultaneously, enhancing operational efficiency.
Yartura's Dancer 4.5.0 drone interceptor represents a significant advancement in UAV technology, featuring AI-driven target acquisition and a high degree of automation. This development aims to enhance operational efficiency while reducing the burden on personnel.
