On Wednesday, June 3, Ukraine is set to experience moderately warm weather, with rain anticipated in the right bank region. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has indicated that cloud cover will increase, particularly in areas affected by an atmospheric front.
According to the forecast, the right bank will see moderate rainfall, with significant downpours expected overnight in Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, and Odesa regions. In contrast, the rest of the country is likely to remain dry, although cloudiness with some clear spells will prevail.
The report states, “In the Right Bank region, moderate rain is expected, with significant rainfall possible in the aforementioned areas overnight. The rest of the territory is likely to remain dry. Fog may occur in parts of Zakarpattia and Prykarpattia during the night and morning hours.”
Wind conditions will feature a southeast direction, blowing at speeds of 5-10 meters per second. Overnight temperatures are projected to range from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will reach between 16 and 21 degrees. In Zakarpattia and the southernmost parts of the country, temperatures could rise to 25 degrees.
Forecast for Kyiv and Surrounding Areas
The Hydrometeorological Center has also confirmed that Kyiv and the Kyiv region will experience cloudy weather with rain on June 3.
“Winds will be from the southeast at 5-10 m/s. Temperatures in the region will be 10-15 degrees Celsius at night and 16-21 degrees during the day; in Kyiv, nighttime temperatures will range from 11 to 13 degrees, with daytime highs between 16 and 18 degrees,” meteorologists reported.
First Week of June in Ukraine
Earlier, Ivan Semilyt, a meteorologist at the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, indicated that the first week of June would be marked by rainfall, accompanied by a gradual warming trend.
He noted that temperatures are expected to rise over the coming days, with nighttime lows between 8 and 15 degrees Celsius and daytime highs ranging from 18 to 23 degrees. The southern regions may see temperatures reaching up to 25 degrees.
