Russian Forces Launch Drone and Missile Strikes on Kharkiv

In the early hours of June 2, Russian military forces targeted Kharkiv with drone and missile strikes, affecting four districts: Osnovyansky, Nemyshlyansky, Kyivsky, and Slobidsky.

According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov, as of 02:33, six individuals had been reported injured in the Nemyshlyansky district, including an 11-year-old girl. By 02:42, the number of people seeking medical assistance had increased to seven, as stated by Regional Military Administration Chief Oleg Synehubov.

At 02:58, eight people in the Slobidsky district were reported to have sought medical help. Synehubov noted that seven of these individuals experienced acute stress reactions, while one woman suffered injuries from glass.

A fire broke out at the site of the strike in the Osnovyansky district, as reported by Terekhov.

The first impact in the Osnovyansky district was recorded at 01:04, targeting an industrial area. The attack on the Slobidsky district was noted around 01:22.

Approximately at 02:20, two ballistic missiles struck the Kyivsky district. Terekhov also indicated that a Shahed drone strike had hit the Nemyshlyansky district, igniting a fire in an office building.

Another strike was reported near a private residence in the Osnovyansky district, damaging the house, a vehicle, and an office building, according to Terekhov.

Russian forces launched a series of drone and missile attacks on Kharkiv, resulting in multiple injuries and property damage across several districts. Emergency services have reported rising numbers of casualties as the situation unfolds.
