Earlier, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov mentioned in a press briefing that Ukraine has significantly slowed the advance of Russian forces and is gradually regaining initiative on the battlefield, aided by factors such as the disabling of Starlink for the aggressor and an increase in medium-range drone strikes.

In a video address on May 25, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asserted that Ukraine currently holds stronger positions on the front lines.

The Ukrainian General Staff reported 229 combat engagements today, with significant Russian attacks in multiple regions. Ukrainian forces are reportedly regaining tactical initiative amid ongoing hostilities.
