Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has identified critical priorities for the coming weeks, focusing on air defense, humanitarian exchanges, and energy support.
During a recent special meeting, Zelensky discussed Ukraine’s diplomatic strategy and collaboration with international partners. He emphasized that Ukrainian officials maintain nearly daily communication with representatives from the United States and European allies, particularly regarding the supply of air defense systems and the implementation of existing agreements.
Among the primary objectives for the upcoming weeks, Zelensky highlighted the enhancement of ballistic defense capabilities, the preparation of bilateral agreements for the production and supply of drones, and the advancement of the Drone Deal initiative with the European Union.
Additionally, Ukraine is preparing for several significant international meetings. “We are preparing for important negotiations—details will remain private for now,” he noted.
A key topic of the meeting was the continuation of humanitarian efforts. Zelensky stressed the importance of maintaining exchanges for which agreements have already been reached and instructed his team to intensify collaboration with partners who can facilitate this process.
Furthermore, the president announced forthcoming measures to bolster Ukraine’s energy sector. “There will be new decisions to support Ukraine, particularly in our energy sector. We are finalizing the details,” he concluded.
