15-Year-Old Dies Following Russian Missile Strike in Pryluky

A tragic incident unfolded in Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast, on May 19, when a 15-year-old boy succumbed to injuries sustained during a Russian missile attack. The local authorities confirmed the news, highlighting the severity of the situation.

According to Volodymyr Chernov, head of the Pryluky District Military Administration, the teenager was in critical condition prior to his death. Eyewitness Svitlana Sydorenko reported that the boy was near the “Epicenter” shopping center when shrapnel struck his back and abdomen, prompting immediate medical attention.

The police confirmed that three residents of Pryluky lost their lives due to the missile strike, with the 15-year-old being among them. In total, 29 individuals were reported injured as a result of the attack.

In addition to the casualties, the missile strike caused significant damage to local infrastructure, affecting businesses, three shopping centers, 17 stores, pharmacies, a kindergarten, educational institutions, residential buildings, and over 30 vehicles.

This attack is part of ongoing hostilities, with Russian forces targeting various locations in Ukraine. The situation remains dire as the community grapples with the aftermath of the violence.
