Ukraine is set to be the warmest country in Europe today and tomorrow, May 7, according to meteorologist Natalka Didenko. She shared her forecast on Facebook, indicating that temperatures will range from 22 to 28 degrees Celsius.
However, western regions may face thunderstorms and heavy winds that could reach storm levels. Didenko noted that as the week progresses, rain and thunderstorms are expected to increase, with a drop in temperatures, although the eastern part of the country will still experience warm weather.
Weather Forecast for Kyiv
In the capital, Kyiv, no precipitation is expected tomorrow, with daytime temperatures rising to around 25 degrees Celsius. A brisk southwest wind will accompany the warm weather.
Upcoming Weather Changes
On May 6, Ukraine enjoyed warm, almost summer-like weather, characterized by sunshine and minimal rainfall. However, changes are anticipated as the weekend approaches, with the potential for brief showers and thunderstorms, along with a slight decrease in temperatures. Currently, temperatures are expected to reach between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius, with slightly cooler conditions in the south. Rain is unlikely, although localized showers may occur in the west and in Luhansk.
