Recent military reports indicate a significant escalation in combat activities across various fronts in eastern Ukraine, with 122 clashes documented since the start of the day. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Russian forces launched numerous attacks in several strategic areas, including Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Huliaipole.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops executed 23 attacks aimed at advancing towards settlements such as Bilitske, Dorožne, and Rodynske. Ongoing confrontations have been noted in this area. Similarly, in the Kostiantynivka region, 19 assaults targeted Ukrainian defensive positions near multiple localities, including Kostiantynivka and Sofiivka.
The situation has also intensified in the Huliaipole sector, where Russian forces conducted 15 attacks, impacting areas like Zalyznychne and Huliaipole itself. Ongoing battles have been reported, alongside airstrikes affecting various locations.
In addition to ground assaults, Russian forces executed two airstrikes in the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, dropping four bombs and conducting 53 shelling operations against Ukrainian positions and civilian areas. This included the use of multiple rocket launcher systems in two instances.
On the southern front, the enemy has made three attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses near Starytsia, Lyman, and Mytrofanivka, with one engagement still ongoing. In the Kupiansk direction, a single attack was recorded towards Kurylivka.
Ukrainian forces have reported successfully repelling five assaults in the Lyman area, where Russian troops targeted Lyman, Novyi Myr, and other nearby settlements. Ongoing combat continues in this region.
