Ukraine Reports Significant Decline in Russian Oil Exports Amid Ongoing Strikes

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced a notable decrease in oil exports from Russia, attributing this to sanctions and military strikes. He provided specific figures regarding three major ports affected by these developments.

The intelligence reports indicate a reduction in loading volumes at the following ports:

  • Primorsk – down by 13%
  • Novorossiysk – down by 38%
  • Ust-Luga – down by 43%

Zelensky cautioned that the internal Russian statistics used for these calculations might not accurately reflect the situation. He suggested that the actual losses could be even greater.

“We will continue our operations aimed at reducing Russian oil revenues and export volumes,” stated the President.

On April 29, Ukrainian drones targeted a strategic oil hub near Perm, igniting oil storage tanks. Earlier that same night, explosions were reported in Oryol, where oil infrastructure was also ablaze.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed significant reductions in Russian oil exports, citing key port statistics. Ongoing military actions continue to target Russian oil infrastructure, further impacting export capabilities.
