Drone Strike in Sumy Region Claims Four Lives, Including Medical Personnel

A drone strike in the Sumy region of Ukraine on Saturday, February 21, resulted in the deaths of four individuals, with only the driver of the ambulance surviving the attack.

According to reports, Russian forces targeted an ambulance using a drone, which subsequently ignited. The incident occurred near the outskirts of the Znob-Novgorod community, where initial strikes had already injured two brothers, who were hospitalized.

Following the initial attack, the ambulance was struck while transporting the injured to a medical facility. The driver, who sustained severe burns, is currently receiving treatment.

Authorities confirmed that among the deceased were two brothers, one aged 17, and a married couple, with the woman serving as a medical professional.

A drone attack in the Sumy region has resulted in the deaths of four people, including a medical worker. The incident highlights the ongoing dangers faced by emergency services in conflict zones.
