Russian forces have conducted an attack on the railway infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported as a result of the assault.
According to local authorities, prior to the strike, a heightened alert was issued, prompting residents to seek shelter. The attack resulted in minor damage to the railway station, including shattered windows and doors due to the blast wave.
Ukrzaliznytsia, the state railway company, announced that repairs would be carried out swiftly and urged the public to remain vigilant and follow the guidance of railway officials.
This incident follows a series of attacks on Ukraine’s railway system. On April 13, a strike targeted an area near a freight train locomotive in the Dnipropetrovsk region, but no injuries occurred as the train had been stopped at the nearest station, allowing for the evacuation of approximately 500 passengers.
Additionally, on March 31, a railway station in Sloviansk was hit, resulting in injuries to staff members at the locomotive depot, with one individual sustaining serious injuries.
Recent Russian strikes on railway infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih have resulted in minor damage but no casualties. This incident is part of a broader pattern of attacks on Ukraine's railway system, which have prompted heightened security measures.
