In the early hours of April 23, Russian forces launched drone attacks on the city of Dnipro, resulting in significant damage and multiple injuries. Reports indicate that a high-rise building was struck, igniting fires across various districts.
At approximately 1:09 AM, local authorities issued an alert stating, “The enemy is attacking Dnipro. Fires have broken out in different areas of the city. Residential buildings have been damaged. Remain in safe locations until the air raid alert is lifted.” This warning came shortly before the drone strikes were confirmed.
Shortly thereafter, regional official Oleksandr Hanha clarified that the drone had directly hit a residential tower, leading to several apartments catching fire.
Prior to the assault, the Ukrainian Air Force had warned that multiple groups of enemy drones were heading towards Dnipro.

The number of injured individuals in Dnipro has now risen to three. Hanha stated, “Two women, aged 62 and 68, have been hospitalized in moderate condition. A 35-year-old man will receive outpatient treatment.”
