Oleh Synehubov, the head of the regional administration, confirmed the incident, stating, “Preliminary information indicates that three people were injured. Medical personnel are on-site to offer all required help. The residential building has sustained damage due to the strike.” Later updates from Mayor Ihor Terekhov revealed that the number of individuals seeking medical care had risen to five.
This incident follows a series of attacks on April 16, when Russian forces conducted a large-scale combined assault across various regions of Ukraine, including Kharkiv. During that attack, strikes were reported in three districts of the city, resulting in injuries to two people.
According to local authorities, a car caught fire in the Industrial district due to the bombardment. In the Nemishlyansky district, damage occurred to the roadway, affecting windows in five private homes and leading to two individuals seeking medical attention. Additionally, in the Saltivsky district, a drone strike hit a garden, causing a fire in an outbuilding and damaging windows in a nearby multi-storey building.
