Ukraine’s Defense Forces Introduce New Drone Assault Units

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has announced the implementation of a new model of warfare within its armed forces, focusing on drone assault units. This strategy integrates aerial and ground drones with infantry into a cohesive operational framework.

According to the ministry, this approach has already yielded positive results in southern Ukraine, where significant territories have been reclaimed since February, attributed to the deployment of these innovative units.

In addition, the General Staff has established a Military Expert Council. This advisory body, operating under the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces, aims to facilitate the exchange of advanced military practices between Ukrainian and international forces to enhance the capabilities of the army.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has unveiled a new warfare model that incorporates drone assault units, which has reportedly led to territorial gains in the south. Additionally, a Military Expert Council has been formed to foster collaboration and improve military strategies.
