On April 16, Ukraine will not implement any measures to restrict electricity consumption. Authorities have encouraged citizens to shift energy-intensive activities to daylight hours, specifically from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, when solar power generation is at its peak.
Additionally, Ukrenergo has requested that residents conserve electricity during the evening hours, particularly between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
It is important to note that as of April 15, scheduled power outages are not in effect across the country.
On April 14, a cable line was damaged, resulting in a power outage in the northern part of Chernihiv, affecting approximately 4,300 subscribers.
Recently, Ukrenergo clarified the reasons behind the renewed necessity for hourly power outage schedules in Ukraine. The primary cause cited is a deficit in the energy system’s capacity, attributed to the impacts of attacks from the Russian Federation.
Ukraine's electricity supply remains stable with no planned consumption restrictions for April 16. Authorities are encouraging energy conservation during peak evening hours due to ongoing capacity challenges.
