Russian Military Strikes Energy Facility in Chernihiv Region, Leaving 150,000 Without Power

According to Chernihivoblenergo, the attack has left approximately 150,000 subscribers in the city of Chernihiv and surrounding areas without electricity.

“As a result of the enemy attack, an energy facility in the Chernihiv region was damaged. Power has been cut off to around 150,000 subscribers in the city of Chernihiv and the Chernihiv region. Energy workers will begin emergency restoration efforts as soon as the security situation allows,” the statement read.

The ongoing conflict has led to repeated strikes on critical infrastructure, exacerbating the humanitarian situation in affected areas.

The recent military strike in the Chernihiv region has caused widespread power outages, affecting 150,000 residents. The attack highlights the ongoing impact of the conflict on essential services.
