Ukraine to Avoid Scheduled Power Outages Amid Improved Energy Conditions

On March 25, Ukraine will not implement scheduled power outages for residential consumers, according to a statement from the national energy company.

The company indicated that “no consumption restriction measures are anticipated” for the day. Additionally, Ukrenergo has advised citizens to use high-power electrical appliances between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

This marks the second consecutive day without anticipated power cuts, following a similar situation on March 22. The overall energy situation in Ukraine has improved significantly with the arrival of spring, attributed to a decrease in the use of energy-intensive devices, particularly heaters.

Furthermore, the frequency of attacks on energy infrastructure by Russian forces has diminished compared to the winter months. During that period, the harsh cold was exploited as a tactic against civilians, with targeted strikes on thermal power plants and other energy facilities across the country.

Ukraine's energy situation has stabilized, leading to the cancellation of scheduled power outages. Improved conditions are linked to seasonal changes and reduced attacks on infrastructure.
