The Ukrainian company Roboneers has introduced a new multifunctional drone, the Bulldog, designed to serve both as a communication relay and a delivery system for essential equipment.
The Bulldog drone integrates several capabilities, functioning as a relay to maintain stable radio communication between ground and aerial units, even in densely populated urban areas and challenging terrains. This feature is particularly valuable for ensuring continuous connectivity during military operations.
In addition to its communication role, the Bulldog can operate as a ‘bomber,’ delivering and dropping payloads at designated targets, thereby enhancing its tactical utility in various operations.
Equipped with a secure control channel, the Bulldog is designed to operate effectively in conditions of limited visibility, GPS loss, high humidity, dust, and nighttime scenarios. The drone is currently undergoing testing.
Key specifications of the Bulldog include:
- Flight range: up to 20 km
- Tactical radius: up to 10 km
- Payload capacity: up to 10 kg
- Cruising speed: 12-15 m/s
- Flight duration: up to 70 minutes without payload
The introduction of the Bulldog drone is expected to significantly enhance the capabilities of Ukrainian forces in communication, reconnaissance, and the delivery of combat supplies, combining reliability and versatility in a single platform.
The Bulldog drone, developed by Roboneers, combines communication and delivery functions, enhancing operational capabilities for Ukrainian forces. Its advanced features and specifications position it as a significant asset in tactical scenarios.
