During the first two weeks of March, the Ukrainian special operations unit known as “Ghosts” successfully struck multiple enemy targets in the temporarily occupied region of Crimea.
According to a statement from the Main Intelligence Directorate, one of the notable achievements included the destruction of the “Valdai” radar system, a modern Russian complex designed for detecting and combating small drones.
In addition to the radar system, the Ghosts unit also incapacitated several other military assets:
- a radio jamming station;
- a relay station for UAVs of the “Geran/Gerbera” type;
- a navigation system complex known as “Glonass.”
Furthermore, the unit reported successfully targeting two landing boats of project 02510 “BK-16” along with their crews.
Ukrainian special forces have reportedly carried out successful operations against Russian military assets in Crimea, targeting advanced radar systems and other critical equipment. These actions reflect ongoing efforts to degrade Russian military capabilities in the region.
