Putin Congratulates Mojtaba Khamenei on His Appointment as Iran’s Supreme Leader

Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended his congratulations to Mojtaba Khamenei following his election as Iran’s Supreme Leader. The message was reported by the Russian news agency Interfax, referencing a statement posted on the Kremlin’s official website.

In his message, Putin emphasized that Khamenei will require “great courage and dedication” in his new role. He expressed confidence that Khamenei would honor the legacy of his father, Ali Khamenei, and unite the Iranian people in the face of significant challenges.
