The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, in collaboration with the charity fund “Return Alive,” the recruitment platform Lobby X, and the Ground Forces Command, has initiated a pilot project named “On Experience.” This initiative aims to engage military personnel and veterans in instructional roles to improve the training quality of the Ukrainian armed forces.
The “On Experience” project is designed to enable seasoned military members and veterans to share their expertise with others. The initiative invites active-duty soldiers from the Ground Forces and veterans with combat experience to provide training in both basic and specialized areas, including tactical medicine, engineering, topography, and tactical and firearms training.
Instructors will serve at various training centers, including:
- The General Military Training School;
- The Instructor Training School;
- The Military School named after Colonel Yevhen Konovalets.
Participants in the project will benefit from additional training and certification opportunities, the chance to work alongside experienced instructors, and a tangible impact on the preparation of the Ukrainian military. The program offers a flexible schedule accommodating family time and recovery, financial support of up to 51,000 hryvnias, as well as provisions for housing, meals, and medical assistance. Annual leave and family-related leave are also included for combat participants.
To apply for the project, candidates must submit an application, undergo a three-stage interview process, and complete a two-week trial deployment. Following this, successful candidates will be assigned to their positions and begin training courses.
The “On Experience” initiative aims to ensure high-quality training for Ukrainian soldiers, enhance their effectiveness in combat, and contribute to the preservation of personnel lives.
